How long does workshop servicing take?
Please allow approximately two weeks during peak season. Contact Flight before drop-off if your travel date is close.
Do I need to remove snowboard bindings?
Yes. Please remove snowboard bindings before drop-off so the workshop can use the service racks efficiently maximizing storage space within the racks.
How often should skis or snowboards be waxed?
Flight recommends waxing approximately every 3-5 days on snow, and before each trip when the base looks dry or performance drops.
Do I need a tune before Japan, New Zealand or an Australian trip?
Fresh wax and properly prepared edges can improve glide, grip and confidence, especially when conditions are firm or variable.
Can Flight repair base damage?
Flight offers P-Tex base fill for scratches and minor damage. More extensive damage should be inspected before a repair is confirmed.
Does Flight offer base grinding?
Base grinding is not included in the current advertised workshop services.
